Well, welcome to the live, the sheep podcast. My name is Jeff doddle and I have been a licensed firearm dealer for the last 14 years in this podcast. We talk about all things related to the second amendment, as well as what's going on and other news as well as I like to throw in a we're story or something going on in my life. So welcome. Welcome. Welcome. It is the first weekend of February and what a week it's been here for us in Texas and for me personally, last weekend. Thanks. Bad. I got some very sad news. A very dear friend of mine had passed away. We had his funeral on Wednesday, so it's been a rough day for me. And then on Wednesday night, the Snowmageddon ice storm moved in, moved in and we have had. Ice and snow on the ground for the last two days today will be the first day. I've actually probably gotten out of the house and left and in Texas you know, that may seem crazy to some of you that might be listening elsewhere, but, you know, we don't have any means to we don't have snowplows, we don't have salt. The only thing that we have available to us that we can put on the roads is sand. And I really don't understand the purpose of it. That just kind of makes it dirty. Yeah. It doesn't do much else. Doesn't really fried much attraction and such, but it's been, you know, it was pretty C you know, the change from what we usually have, but it has been a week and then football, you know, my, my cow was lost ABI. A couple of weeks ago. And then my chiefs, I say surprisingly last, last weekend. So I've got the Rams and Bengals I'm going to be rooting for for the bingos Joe burrow, just because we will see. So this week, our wonderful president came out and, and announced some additional plans to reduce gun crime. And, you know, we can't make this stuff up and I'll, I'll get it. More of that, but then his plans he had, I'm just going to be quoting some of this directing you utter every us attorney's office nationwide increased resources, dedicated to district specific, violent crime strategies, New York city's gun violence, strategic partner ship is one violent it's one model of the strategy suggest department will help expand nationwide. Okay, we'll come back to New York. Then here's another cracking down on the iron pipeline. The illegal flow of guns sold in the south, transported up the east coast and found a crime scenes in cities from Baltimore to New York and other farms, trafficking by added personnel resources to strengthen the justice department, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Launching a net. Ghost gun enforcement initiative, which will train prosecutors and disseminate investigation and prosecution tools to help bring cases against those who use ghost guns to commit crimes. Again, we'll come back to that. Using guns to commit crimes pursuing unlawful gun sellers by prioritizing federal prosecutions that those who criminally sell or transfer farms that are used in violent crimes, including unlicensed dealers who sell guns to criminals. Look required. Background checks. Unlicensed dealers means a private individual who sells a gun to what they say is criminals might be your neighbor. I don't know, without the Ricard background yet, there is no required background check for a private sale between individuals, you know, in here. There's a lot of things they're pursuing ghost guns. Ghost gun is all a ghost gun is, is a privately made from. Which is completely legal has been for hundreds of years before this nation was even a country. People were able to make their own guns and you can, you can go out and you can make it your own gun, but that is what it goes, gum. It is technically, it's just not traceable. It's not a serialized weapon already. It may even be sterilized. And then we're going to crack down on the iron pipeline, guns sold in the south and I am in the south and. Blow up to the north, but again, this is all about the guns. It's the guns problem. And this is where it gets crazy. So we say here over your Biden's doing this and we're going to replicate what New York city's doing well on the Washington examiner article, we find, you know, the New York attorney general is either not prosecuting volatile. Or reducing the charge quote. And this is from the article. It gets worse brag, a Manhattan da also instructed prosecutors to reduce charges filed by police officers against criminals in almost every case. For example, armed robbers, armed. I mean, they have a gun or some sort of weapon. Who use guns or other deadly weapons to stick up stores and other businesses will now only be prosecuted for petty larceny. A misdemeanor provided no fee provided. No victims were seriously injured. Normally armed robbery is prosecuted as a class B felony punishable up to 25 years in prison, petty larceny petty larceny, larceny, guaranteed. They fit into 364 days in jail and a maximum fine of a thousand dollars here. We're saying that all these. Guns are the problem. If you use a gun and a crime, we're not going to pursue you, but you're going to go after illegal gun owners and their guns. I don't think that the left is really, even serious about trying to reduce crime because they can't be this stupid. They can't be this stupid that they've over here saying that the guns are the problem, but then we're going to reduce carbon. I think all they're trying to do is create chaos. They want violent crime. They have noted are to reduce crime, whether it's violent, whether involves guns or not, they have no desire to reduce the crime. They want crime, they want chaos in the streets. They want your city to be unrest. They want what we had in Portland, because what does that do that makes the people turn to the government and look for it. That is all. This is about. They want to take away our guns to keep us from being able to defend ourselves and then encourage or not discourage violent crime on the criminal side. So again, we are completely at war with each other, our only avenue fixing the problem. It's turning to the gun. To help us. And that is what they want. That is definitely what they want. So they, they, they look stupid. They act stupid. They face stupid things, but I don't think they're this stupid. I think this is well calculated and planned that they want to keep chaos on our streets in our cities. And you know, when you look at this, where is it happening? It's happening in very distinct Democrat areas, Chicago to. The C Baltimore, very strong San Francisco pooping in the street, very strong Democrat strongholds. And they're just trying to strengthen their base again. That is all. This is about, there is no attempt that they are desire to actually reduce crime or crimes involving guns. But. On the other side, we want to make guns look like that. They are the problem. We want to go after everybody's guns. Because again, then that makes us more dependent on the government. If we don't have any way to defend ourselves all about, this is all about power, power, power, power. That is all the left is concerned about. They have no desire to improve anybody's situation. They want to make it work. So that you then can only look to the government for help. They don't want you to be able to pull yourself out of your, out of your problems. They don't want you to be able to protect yourself. They want you to depend on the government for everything. And when you look at what they're trying to do around guns and gun crime, that is exactly what they're trying to do. They're trying to not make you want to turn to the government for help. And the only way you can do. It's revealed the truth. Let people know, stand up for our second amendment rights and fight, fight, fight for those. We have to continue to fight. We have to put people in office that respect the second amendment. We have to get judges on the courts that respect the second amendment. We have to stand up for ourselves for the second amendment. We have to come together as a, as a country. And let these crazy leftist, progressive people know that we will not take it. Those are my thoughts. This is not what I want to talk about this weekend. I had some other plans, but I just could not let this, this craziness and nuttiness that they're putting out there. Go without being mentioned. So I appreciate you listening.
