Well, welcome to the live to shoot podcast. You know, this we Disney dropped their new episode and we'll get into Disney. I'll talk about a little bit about Disney later, they dropped their new episode, the first episode of moon night. And when I say dropped, they literally dropped, I mean, dropped it in where you are dropped right into the middle of. No idea what's going on. No idea who this guy is, what what's going on. And some of my favorite superhero movies are always the ones of the origin stories. The captain America, the first one, first soldier, Batman begins iron man, where you find out how they became the superhero that they are today. And I have a few new listeners over the last month or so Talk about why I do this and who I am and why I do this. The first thing about me even though, is I am in the words of DC talk a Jesus freak, devoted Christian father husband married 22 years, two boys, freshmen college, junior, and high school. That is me. I love this country. I am a proud American America, first manga and a devoted second amendment. The border. That's what makes me up. I love sports. Keeps score has a ball. I'm a fan of, it just became a fan of formula one, but any sport, Dallas cowboy, Texas ranger stars, Mavericks, can't see cheese, can't see rules. Those are my teams. TCU horned frogs are to Razorbacks. There's another story around one of them. IMR, Arkansas Razorback fan. Th th those are my team. That's who I support. And why do I do a podcast? Well, well, first off, the reason I did this podcast is a podcast. I would probably listen to four or five hours of podcasts that day, whether I'm, oh, the other thing I am, I'm an obsessive runner. I run every day just about. Driving to work coming home from work. If I'm not on a meeting or a conference call, I'm listened to a podcast. Typically I listen again, four or five hours. Some of my favorite podcasts are bearing harms. The Bible project, not enough faith to be an atheist. Dan Bongino the war room with Steven Bannon Marine history. Taylor's American scandal, 10 minute Bible. Those are some of my WallBuilders. Those are some of my favorite podcasts. So listen to some of those, but I love podcasts. So I thought I'd just, you know, I originally just thought I'd do a podcast. And I w and even to this day, I don't care if anybody listens, that is not the point of me doing this podcast. What I want to get out of it is if I can get one person to do something, to help support the second amendment. Keep our rights secure our right to bear arms, then I've been successful. And that is what I I'm about this country. We're in a battle for our second amendment. We have gone so far to the left that they are determined to take away our right. And if I can get a little message out to anybody to tell you that that can help them either contact a congressmen, do something to support the second amendment, or even just buy a gun, right. To protect themselves, to understand what our rights are. From this podcast, I would have been successful and I don't do any advertisers. I don't have a sponsor, not doing any of that. Don't really look at the numbers, but I did notice that they had gone up, but don't do any of that. Not trying to, I'm not trying to make money out of this. I can just get the message out, just be another avenue. And part of that reason is I believe everybody needs to be doing their part in some form of fashion, talked about Disney, or if we're talking about are our cell carriers T-Mobile and you know, they're, they're horrible. They're just as well could all of them. And she's talking about switching and talking about there. There's some reasons there's some challenges around, around switching and work. We're still looking at it, but you know, I start, it's just so hard to avoid these people between Facebook. Google, Amazon ATN T Disney. If you try and avoid all their products and all their services, it's almost impossible to where you, you don't even know you're using something that is by one of these crazy left companies that have these crazy ideas. And so my, my approach is we're eliminating where we can not going to certain retailers, not doing buying certain products. All those just are a little bit we can help. And this podcast is one of those little things in my mind that I'm trying to do to help. And so that is what I'm trying to get out of it. Trying to just give back a little bit, trying to support our second amendment. Now, the thing about me is I have been an FFL dealer. I'm a licensed firearm dealer and that's kind of where my background comes in. And that's kind of the perspective that I come through with this podcast. I've been doing it for 14 years and I originally started off with an idea one a first I started doing it just to see if I could get my license. Didn't even know what I was gonna do, then decide we're going to try and build business around it. My brother and I, we created an online store. We were selling inventory, doing all that. And then one thing led to another and it's just really, it's really hard to be in the gun business. There's not a lot of margin in selling guns and, but I really enjoyed it. One to keep my license developed quite a bit of business, just from doing online transfers for people buying off the internet, get a gun broker and all these different online. Retailers. And so I started doing that and that kept me in the flow, kept me getting to see guns, doing those types of things and did the 14 years ago. And I started and I was targeting$10 or$15 for a transfer, depending on whether you have a license to carry. And at that time, people said I wasn't charging enough. And I'm still charging that same amount because it's not, again, it's not about me, my money. I don't really care part of why I'm doing this. If I don't want to be, or the fact that somebody doesn't want to pay a transfer fee. I don't want that to be a fact that keeps them from buying a gun. I want to help facilitate. And if I make them more pay my fee, I'll do it for free. Just something by a gun. So they can get that experience and they can get out there. And again, it's just a little bit to give back. I want to try and make the process as easy, as simple as possible. I try and provide good customer service, good communication, and again, make it very efficient for people and all that is. Just trying to, again, facilitate people, buying the guns and proposing the second amendment. And so then with that developed the podcast, just again, to kind of get the name, get my name out there and get the information out there that people want to hear and share things that are going on in the second amendment community in terms of laws and, and the ATF and what they're doing and all those types of things. And so those are really why I'm saying. Doing what I'm doing. So when you're listening to this podcast and you're thinking, this guy is a little rough, he, you know, doesn't have any sponsors. He's, he's just doing this. I kind of consider myself a shade tree podcast, or I'll just kind of pop it up. I really don't. I have a microphone, a little. Sound deadening foam things or software. And that's it. I record it. Try and keep podcasts about 10 minutes no more. So it's not something that you just, you spend all your titles until you, you get in, you get a little bit of information and you're done that. Is it. So. For all those people that have been listening. And I appreciate you listening for all those that have just started listening. That's a little bit about me, a little bit about what you can expect from me. Contact me. My contact information is in the show notes. Love to hear from you love to get any feedback, but I appreciate listening, share this with people like it, give it a five star rating. If you like it, do all those things, you know, in a truly around. If, if, if it knows listeners grow again, just the only motivation is to help get the message out a little bit more about the second amendment and our right to bear arms and how important it is and how great this country is and how we need to stand behind it. Thank you for listening. Have a great weekend and I will talk to you next week.
