It's been a few years since I've been able to actually celebrate mother's day with my mother since she passed but We still remember all the great women in our lives and what they've done to us And I am surrounded by several great mothers including my wife who is a great mother to our boys But so welcome celebrate the the mothers out there This world could not exist without mothers. So welcome and a, on a sports note, the Mavericks and the stars took a two one lead last night in their series. So that is a good news. They have been up and down, so we will continue to celebrate them. But question for everybody. Oh, and another thing I just want to mention right off the bat is you'll see a new feature. A couple things, but prepping for one, we've talked about this a little bit that, I'm believing that, there's something that's going to happen. I don't know where it might be our difference in China. It might be something that we do to ourselves. But you need to always be prepared and you need to, accumulate those key things that you might need to survive one or two days, water, food, batteries, Those types of things. And then you might want to start looking long term, worry about a week, what about two weeks? What if it's extended? And then what happens when. The whole world just collapses. There was a show called Revolution and it was a show where all of a sudden out of the blue, the, everything that operated, that was mechanically operated, that operated on some sort of power, whether it was electricity or gas, would Just quit working and the world just kind of came to a stop and it was within, in the first episode, it's been seven days and the world has, has just evolved, devolved chaos where people are just ran, killing people just to survive, to kill them for whatever supplies they might have because the stores are empty. People don't have power. They're living in tents. cars are stuck on the roads. And if you come across somebody that's straight from the pack per se or weaker element, they were just getting killed. And it was, it's kind of shocking him. But when you look at, things that have happened recently, we've had, ice storms and the panic that causes COVID, when you go to Costco and no toilet paper, right. Just panic. So, we have to start preparing and that leads me to the next thing I want to talk about is as a part of that that is again we continue to talk about you have to be able to defend yourself and this is one thing that I have always been bad about is stocking up on ammo when I don't need to. And when things are good, I'm not thinking about it. I'm in Walmart or wherever I might be, or online, and I'm like, Nah, I don't, I've got plenty right now. But you always can have more, and there may be a time when you wish you had more. And so, when good times are going not really buying ammo. Not really necessarily thinking about it. It's not on the forefront of my mind. And now things are starting to turn. There is going to be an ammo shortage. Yes, there is going to be an ammo shortage. It's, it's become apparent. We are extremely short on nitrocellulose, which is gun cotton. And it goes into, it's a key thing and into making a gunpowder. And there is a extreme shortage Vista Outdoors, who owns it's a parent company of Alliant Powders, sent out this message to all of their customers. Customers, it says due to the worldwide shortage of nitrocellulose, the Vista outdoor supply agreement for the sale of Alliant power canisters has been suspended for an unknown period. At this time, we have no timeline for the fulfillment and will be canceling outstanding Alliant orders in our systems. Representatives will provide updates and coordinate new orders based on availability. So the worldwide shortage of nitrocellulose. And it is key. And so why do we have a shortage? Well, there's a lot of reasons. Big reason is we've been shipping a lot of firearms and ammunition to Ukraine, for example and, and they're just going through the rounds Astronomical pace and now our own military is short on ammo and now apparently our citizenship is going to be Short on ammo because of one what we've been sending to Ukraine two Nitrocellulose isn't just used for gunpowder It's used for a lot of things and one of the things that it's used in it's the PCR test that were used to test For COVID and so we went through a large supply of of nitrocellulose and generating those tests. It's, using film, nail polish all sorts of other commercial uses. So you're going to start seeing, your prices of a lot of things going up because of this. And where is the, it's made from very special cotton and that cotton best source right now is out of China and China has cut back significantly on that. A lot of reasons why they might be doing it, but the good reason is to disrupt all of this. And so you're going to start seeing prices of ammo go up. That is for sure, right? It is going to start going up and the supplies are going to be down. The shelves are going to be empty. And, and again, we're all going to be saying, I wish I had bought some then, so be on the lookout. Keep, when you can get a chance to buy ammo or whatever, reloading supplies, it's, it's going to be critical and who knows what's going to happen in this crazy 2024. And again, you can talk about conspiracy theories. Maybe my government's behind this as a, as a backdoor way of, to restrict the second amendment. Guns aren't any good to us if we don't have ammo. There's always been this theory that they would go after the ammo manufacturers. And this is just maybe another attempt. I don't know, but again, be on the lookout, watch out. We're getting into some critical times here. And it's probably some crazy times as well as it comes to what the prices of ammo is going to be. And I say that, so one of the things I've just just initiated you then to, if I. Have signed up with ammo squared and this is not a paid sponsorship. This is not any type of thing. And then you can set, Shipping rules as whenever I have this many rounds or what have you, Automatically ship that to me or you can just store and hold it for me And so right now I'm just having them store and hold it for me But it's an easy way to accumulate ammo and not have to think about it And that is what's been my problem over the years and I'm gonna see if I can do that So even In good times and bad times. It's almost like contributing to your 401k and you're just average costing it while A little bit, ammo prices really aren't having They just keep going up. And They may dip down to where they're a little cheaper when things are less crazy And you can get some of them and then you can mix and match your calibers, and you can just kind of create an S Storm ammo. Stock up on water, batteries, extra food, non perishable food there's, medicine potentially. All those types of things because I think we're on the verge of some serious crazy about to happen. Don't know what, not a conspiracy theorist, but I think it could potentially be happening. And we're going to be short on ammo, and the key thing you're going to have to go do is defend yourself. And here in Texas, We can defend ourselves. There's a lot of people around here, but things get crazy. And when things get crazy. Things go bad fast. So check out ammo square. Look at the link.
