Well, welcome to the lift shoot podcast. I'm Jeff dabble, and I've been a licensed firearm dealer for 13 years. And I'm passionate about supporting our second amendment rights in this podcast. We'll cover various topics related to the second minute, plus any other topics for the day that might be interesting or relevant. I might even slipped in some sports mood topics. Occasionally I hope you find this informative and you can take away at least a little nugget each week that you didn't know. So, welcome, just a little bit on me and my, my journey. I am home today. we're dumping our baseball tournament for this week. next week is still to be determined, but, I don't know. I don't think I'm going to be traveling anymore for the next couple of weeks, so it'll be nice to at least spend a little time at home and, Muddle the yard and, and do some, some of those things. So, few weeks go in, my newsletter, I, do a weekly or try do a weekly newsletter. and the subscription to that, it's always in that, in the show notes as well. But my newsletter, I encourage everybody to get out and vote in the, in their primaries because, that the, The lower level elections to me are, if not. As important, maybe even more important than some of the bigger elections. Like we have the president the Senate races, house representatives and such, because, and you can see in today's environment with the virus and all that's going on, that our governors, our mayors County judges, city councils, wield a lot of power in a threatening, a lot of our freedoms. You know, in this office, there should be, offices are shutting down and. our economy, you have portioning, you know, businesses to close they're restricting, religious liberties by preventing churches from worshiping. They're keeping our kids out of school and forcing him worn wear mask and so on and so on and so on. And so many of the things that they're doing is purely arbitrary and it's not based on any logic or fact. And a lot of it is politically driven. I believe that they are trying to manipulate and control us, it is just apparent that these offices, hold a lot more power than maybe we even previously imagined. And a great example of that. And the one that you know is, Very important. I think the listeners of this podcast, it's the McCleskey case in st. Louis, because it's becoming a direct attack on our second amendment rights. And so for, any of you, I know I have quite a growing number of listeners that are international. So just, I'll kind of recap that story here. Know, this has happened in st. Louis happened towards the end of June, and all the large group of quote unquote peaceful protesters, tore through certain security gate and went past a private, you know, property sign of a very high end, you know, a wealthy, neighborhood that had, you know, Private entrances and such, and they were going there to protest in front of the mayor of st. Louis House. But on the way to the mayor's house, they had, they passed by the home of Mark and Patricia McCluskey. And. You know, you have to know in the weeks leading up to these, this event, these, these peaceful protestors had already burned down police stations, restaurants, they lose stores that they've taken over the entire city blocks and in st. Louis, I mean in Seattle. so yeah, there's a great precedent that, yeah. it not all, but some, maybe some of these people may have, Not so bright intentions. So, a reasonable person probably should have been fearful of what these people were doing. I mean, if he's seeing the pictures, I mean, they tore through a gate and it was quite a large group of people. so the McCluskey is being legal gun owners, and within the right to defend themselves. Confronted the protesters in their lawn. Mr. McClusky had an AR 15, mrs. McCloskey was holding a handgun and for their efforts of defending themselves, the McCluskey has now been charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon, regardless of the fact that Missouri has open carry laws, as well as the castle doctrine and giving them the right to protect their property and to stand their ground. So what's the basis of this charge. It's purely political activism from a far left attorney Kim Gardner. And to show you why the lower elections she has received over$70,000 in donations from George Soros. Now, why is George Soros interested in the election of the circuit attorney in st. Louis? Because. I think he's figured out that he can do more with his billions of dollars by spreading it around the country on all these lower offices than spending millions and millions on, presidential races and that he can add a wheel more influence because now$70,000 to a local, attorney, ingratiate, know to her. And she is, I'm more likely to, to, do his bidding. Then you've been giving millions of dollars to a national election, and this woman has already demonstrated in many other cases that, that she is, she doesn't support law enforcement. She has, Failed to prosecute almost 75% of the felony arrest. The failed police department has brought to her. and in this instance, she's using this as an effort to bypass the second amendment. and it's even gone to, I mean, you know, there, you can look at the stories that they. The handgun, that business McCloskey, he had more than operating. So in a sense, she didn't buy like any laws, because she was just waving around any potential loss, I would say, Oh, a piece of metal. But when it got to the crime lab, they have since now, repaired the gun made it, made it in the working order. So who knows where this has been a lead and what they're going to attempt to do. To do with this. I'm really like, like altered evidence in, in this case. But, you know, this is, The same thing that we're seeing with our religious freedoms, the way that the churches are being treated in these local areas, they're being discriminated against, you can't worship at a church, but you can go over to home Depot and, and, gathered, there in bunches. and unfortunately, again, John Roberts has failed this, written decision. This came down this week where they, a church had, That got it. You've got escalated up to the Supreme court that they were capping this church tenants at 50 people. And, but while it weren't a secular businesses, they were saying, well, you know, you can have up to 50% of your. Capacity. and so it, it, it wasn't pretty the same, but again, and I have not read the ruling from the Supreme court on this yet, but, so I, I just want to be careful what I say, but again, John Roberts rules, you know, the fog for decision, and John Roberts w ruled on the, on the, on the left side of the court that, this was, it was acceptable. I would go and, Get some analysis on this, I'm on this ruling for future podcasts, but again, it's just showing that these local level, offices are extremely powerful and that we've gotta be very aware of who we're voting for and who we're putting in office and getting some of us involved in terms of, those with more of a conservative, Standing and ones with a, well, freedom loving people to, run in these elections. So, I want to just wrap this up by saying, you know, again, we're turning into an election season. We have to get our vote out. We have to encourage, and, you know, I listen to dumb damn, you know, and he said, you know, the Republicans okay. Our, our, our answer. But we do know that the Democrats have caused or problems. I think that's kind of a, a poor paraphrase what he says, but, in the end, yes, granted all the Republicans, we haven't been wrong sort of problems, but, again, The left is where, where they're wanting to take this country to, to a socialist level country. Where are all of our freedoms are taken away is, extremely concerning. And we all have to get out and do what we can. So, ending there, this, that podcast on that down note, I will a sign off. Thank you for listening again. subscribe. Subscribe to my newsletter, email me. If you have any comments you want to say, you argue with me, whatever it is. I still have to get the results of the survey that I did out there as well. And, I think there were some interesting, information and, I've got some interesting things planned that I'm going to be talking about here in the, in the feature, that I think will, definitely, be interesting, or I hope anyway for, for everybody. So, take care, have a good rest of your, your weekend and we'll talk to you later.
