well, welcome to the leadership podcast. My name is Jeff I've been a licensed firearm dealer for the last 13 years. I'm passionate about our second amendment rights. And in this podcast, we talk about all things related to second amendment, as well as I might throw in a sports story, a movie topic or something going on in the current election or other political topics. Well, today is Saturday, November 28th. And, this is the week of Thanksgiving. Thursday was Thanksgiving. And for all of you. That are not. In the United States and I'm continually surprised by the number of actual listeners that I have, that aren't in the United States. Thanksgiving is a holiday that we celebrate here in the United States of just giving. Thanks. It originated. with the, the pilgrims who were early settlers. from England in 16, 20. And they had a very rough winter on their first, first winter here in the States or, half of the 102 original settlers. perished. And they. Partnered up with a, some native Americans who taught them how to. grow corn, raise crops, build shelters and things like that. And then following the next November, they got together and had a three-day feast. with them and they're native Americans and just really celebrating, Their good fortune. really wasn't considered Thanksgiving at the time we have since adopted it. But that's, what's going on in here in the United States and it's just really a time period that we all give. Thanks. And so I just want to take this little message and just tell you. About what I'm thankful for. So really when I look at what I'm thinking for, the first thing I'm thankful for is, Jesus, my Lord and savior, and the fact that he came into my life and has completely changed my life. And if you are not a Christian and don't know, I highly encourage you to, to seek out him. find somebody that can tell you more about him because he literally will change your life. The next thing I'm more thankful about is my wife, my wife for the last 20, some odd years. she is. A blessing. She was a gift from God. She was what I needed at the time. And. she is. Along with Jesus. Really changed my life. And then my two awesome boys. Seth and chase. I love them so much. And I am just extremely thankful for them. Finally thankful for this country that we live in. We're going through a tough time right now, but, I am still thankful for the freedoms and liberties that we do have. And times like this is whenever it comes up, that you really do have to fight for these everyday. They're not a given. you ha we have for them. And we are continuing to fight for them. And finally I'm thankful to my listeners. I am amazed. I've said this before. That anybody listens whenever I first threw this out there. And that people continue to listen. So thank you very much. I appreciate it. we will be back next week with another message. Thank you.
