Welcome to the Live to Shoot podcast. My name is Jeff Dowdle and I'm a licensed firearm dealer for the last 13 years. I'm passionate about our second amendment right? And in this podcast, we talk about all things related to the second amendment. As well as I might throw on a sports story or movie topic, and now lately in this new environment, we're talking a lot more about the current politics of the day, because those are definitely having a direct impact on our second amendment. So we'll happy. Sunday to everybody is January 10th. So a few days So I sat down. I was thinking about what I was talking about today and I wasn't going one direction, but over the last 36. 72 hours. I definitely changed what I'm going to be talking about in my mind. It is where a well into a a weekend of 2021. And. I can tell you, 2021 does not look any better than 2020 at this point in time. And I did what I I've done my part. So on new year's day, I, I ate. Two or three bowls of black eyed peas. And for those of you that aren't in the South. And aren't familiar with the tradition of black eyed peas. On new years day, it is supposed to bring good luck for the upcoming year. So and it goes back to. The best I can tell back into the civil war times when a black-eyed peas or just considered to be animal food. And so when the union troops. Rated the supplies of the Confederates. They left behind the black eyed peas and they were able to get through the winter by eating a black-eyed peas. And from that point on it, they've been though. A Referenced to breathe to be good luck. So I've done that. Then last weekend. My brother was in town and we built a couple of a RS. For my boys, which I think is timely in this day and age. To have as many as possible and we are. You know, I am up to. Plus two now on the ARS from what I was last week. Because this world has gotten crazy and it all started on January six. When we were doing the counting of the electoral votes, and then there was a raid on the. Storming of the capital. Building bye. What may or may not have been a mixture of Trump supporters and teeth black live matter. A professional antagonist. We, I don't really know and I don't want to speak. I do know that those people that did go into the Capitol do not represent the majority of the magma population. At all. That we are a law and order a group. And so it's You know, disheartening. But then that just gave the left a excuse to Implement more draconian measures. Then they already have, and that's when Twitter first suspended president Trump's Twitter account. And then since his band, him along with many other. Conservatives general plan Sidney Powell variety of others have done. They have been suspended permanently from Twitter and Twitter's. Reasoning for that was that, you know, in a few of his tweets, he referred to us. As American Patriots. And that was threatening. He also said that he was not going to go to the Generation. And they said that that was a way of, he was signaling that he would not be there. So that would allow us to attack. The inauguration. It's all a basic basis of lives and lies and just excuses to again, start controlling our speech. And once we start controlling our speech, I've said that, you know, The other, they're going to start coming for our guns. And we are, have to be on high alert. You know, beyond then that. You know, things, other things that have now unfolded is that Apple has removed the parlor app. From it's Apple store. Google play has removed the parlor happen if you're not familiar with parlor I would tell you to get on it, but right now, I don't know how free to do that, except to go to their website and log in and do it from your browser. And I encourage you to do that. But and now since then Amazon has totaled. Parlor that they are going to drop their hosting services or cloud hosting services. At midnight tonight. So part of the will essentially go offline. So they silenced the president. They've taken off away. One of our, the biggest up-and-coming alternative sources to Twitter. And. You know, they also the president's email provider has stopped him from being able to send out emails to his followers. And so this just goes to, you know, this These tech, all of arts, you know, Zuckerberg. Dorsey. Cook. Bayzos that they want to control us and they think they can, they can't. We, we are going to prevail. We will get our message out. And we are. Country of freedom. And Liberty until we will have to. That we will prevail. So. There are all sorts of alternative sources right now, and they're all coming around, flying around. And so what we. So for awhile, it may be a very patchwork method for us to communicate and get our word out and understand what's going on. But I encourage you to go out to all the sources, get accounts. I, you know, I can speak for parlor and rumble as rumples alternative for YouTube. I mean, they. You know, Steve Bannon. And if you don't fall asleep bands YouTube, or Our podcast, the war room. I highly suggest that you do. It's quite informative. They banned him from YouTube multiple others. Or been kicked off YouTube or a D monetized. And so they're moving over to park or to rumble. So parlor is an alternative to Twitter, rumble as an alternative to YouTube. There's multiple different other platforms out there. I, you know, there's gab telegram cloud hub, MI wi I say, get on all. Get on all of them for now until we can sort this out so we can start getting our message out. And. Begin to keep everyone informed on what's going on. Because our. Our Republic is, is in jeopardy. This is a definite attempt to take over by. I believe the communists. Party the China, Chinese companies party. So another alternative switching back. I just saw got a message from Devin Nunez. Congressman who. Has been a true hero Patriot. Over the last four years, trying to shine a light on all this corruption. If you TA text the word freedom to nine, eight Oh seven eight, he will send you a text alerts. As well of what's going on. So I encourage you to do that. But, you know, We are an armed populace. The second amendment is critical to our, our Our Liberty and our freedom and you know, Joe Biden's come forward. He's he said, and you know, this is even gonna make it easier for him. If they've silenced half the American population and the biggest half that supports, you know, and it's even more than the half, I really do believe. We are the majority. I believe there's they think we're the minority would, they think were fringe group. And that will go away quietly. We're not going away quietly. And th th that type of language threatens them and that's when they go. Into their, their little thumb sucking. Tirades and they start, you know, they start wielding their power, power to Banas and, and do all of that from the areas that, that they, they, that they control. But because they do fear us. They, they understand that we have principles and that we are Guided by those on their side. They're not guided by any principles. They're just guided by the wanting power. And we, we. We are guided by the principle of the freedom and Liberty and falling. Lord and savior. Jesus Christ. And I know not everybody is Christians, but I will tell you. That, that pop, that segment of the population is strong in our faith. So and. The second amendment is his foundation to this. They do not understand the second amendment. They do not. Get it because it's a threat to them as well. There are gonna eliminate anything. That's a threat. And that is a threat. And so look for it. You know, we already know it's coming. They're going to start You know, trying to ban. AR as in high-capacity magazine standard capacity magazines, I need to watch my own language at times. And. Moving into the national firearms act potentially in pain attacks. They are going to universal background checks and you know, That I don't think there were, there were too much, further, far away from them potentially starting to knock on doors and saying, we want your weapons. And as an FFL, I am concerned about that because I am on their list. A lot of other people, you may be under the radar, but I am on the list. I know I have guns. Just by my position to be in an FFL. And they come in here wanting to do what is under the guise of inspection and it's really going to be a confiscation. So I have to be wary of that as well. And I'm going to start probably preparing for that. And do time. But we all need to start preparing. We need to we need to keep praying for this country. We need to pray for our president and who I believe. Is going to have another four years. I, because I believe in God. Miracles. And I believe he's going to show off to us. In due time and What his true. Power is and who the true victors are in this situation. So we need to pray for our country, pray for our president. Pray for those leaders that have supported us. But then we also need to start making our list. Of who was going to start bringing out. And that list is large. We can look at the governors. Like a camp in Georgia. In my own state Abbott. Senators Cornyn in my state most of the centers and most of the congressmen. And we need to because they have no courage. They, they didn't stand up there and wanting to Get by. So now we have a new class coming in and this was one thing I was gonna talk about was the alarm bell worked out of the room. The representative from Colorado. It is going to, has made it public and that she's going to be carrying her, her, her weapon. In the Capitol. And so she's an interesting story and hopefully will.
