Welcome to live to shoot podcast. My name is Jeff Dowdle And I'm a licensed firearm dealers for the last 13 years. I am Passionate about our Second Amendment Rights and in this podcast we t, we talk about all things related to the second amendment. So it wasn't like throwing a sports story may be toxic or something going on in our current environment, such as the election. Or the impeachment of Donald Trump or our current regime that is in power. So. Today is Saturday, January 23rd. And we sit here three days after the installment of the Biden regime and Do you say that somewhat tongue in cheek, but if you do look at the the way it happened with A military force surrounding the capital. It did have the sense of a banana Republic taking over and not a peaceful transition of power. You know what we'll say? That's because Donald Trump incited the rise and that. The magazine people were They were afraid that we were going to be storming the capital, but that is not that they were wanting to just show the power that they, that they believe that they have. And so it, I believe we are under a regime now. And we will have to continue to fight. And that's been the theme of this podcast for the last several months is And I know those words can incite insurrection. As a Chuck Schumer said erection inside being the erection, but don't want to get to blue here. But We Do have to start finding we have to show that we are a force to be reckoned with. I believe that Despite what the results show when the election. That the population. That has has more red than blue. I think even California is probably not as blue as we think it is. And even New York side. The blue is it is, but if they can make us perceive that we are weak and that we don't have power. Then they can hold us down. Mental. Exercise. They, they perform at us. If you can just make your enemy thing that they can't beat you, they won't even try. So we have to understand that we do have the power in our numbers, and then we're going to have to challenge everything that's coming down the pipe from this. Regime. So With that being said, there is some good things happening, and this is where the fight begins. And I say that because we've got several States that have'em. Started to propose bills. To become really sanctuary States. And, you know, the sanctuary movement started, I think back in home 2013 And, you know, during the Obama administration, when, you know, we did think our, our, our settlement rights were. Or then they were under attack. And many Municipalities and mostly counties. Started enacting in one form of fashion. Some sort of sanctuary. Statutes or statements that said that, you know, they would not enforce any. Any laws that they thought violated? Our second amendment rights. And I think To date. There's probably 37 or so States that have a County or. Or Ms. Nez Pally within it that has some sort of sanctuary. Ordinance law. What have you on their books? And, you know, I think during the Trump administration, The movement slowed a little bit. Not, I mean, at least the, the the the press around it. Just because I think we got, we, we do get comfortable and when we get comfortable, we don't act. And I think that's part of what, what happened as we got comfortable and the, they came and they beat us. They may not be as fairly as quarterly, but they'd beat us. They hit us over the head with a club. And so we can't get comfortable. We have to start fighting. And so this, this podcast. Is somewhat directed toward my Texas listeners for the most part. We've had to Texas representatives Steve Toth. Out of the Woodlands and Ben Lehmann. On my rep poking out of Anderson County. Both introduced two separate bills. State representative toss is. House bill one 12. And representative layman is house bill nine 19. And they're both have very similar wording. So I'm going to probably focus a little bit more around house bill one 12. Not to discount. Hospital nine 19, but house bill one 12. Which is being referred to, I believe, as what is the name? It's Well, I don't have that here in front of me, so I will come back to it. But But also in addition to, and we'll come back to the Texas ones. Missouri and Arizona have also. Similar bills. The Missouri's is Senate bill 39 and it declares that it's the duty of the courts and law enforcement agencies to protect the rights of law abiding citizens. To keep and bear arms. And under this act, no public officer or state or local employee has the authority to enforce farm loss, declared invalid by the act. And then there's the Arizona second amendment farm freedom backs, which bans the use of local resources from enforcing any federal law or executive rule that could be seen as running. A foul of the constitutional right to bear arms. So you can see there's similar approaches to that. But I want to talk specifically. Here just for a little bit. About the. Texas. House bill one 12. And just give you a sense of what some of the wording. Is within it. And so. I'm going to go to section B of. Section 43 section. Four dot B, I believe. The way they do, these are very complicated, but it says here an entity, describe a subsection, a and that is that any agency or municipality County or. A special district court, 30, including a sheriff. Municipal police department, municipal attorney or County attorney. That is what the who the entities are. So any entity described by six subsection H may not adopt any rule or ordinance or policy under which the entity enforces or by consent consent consent tenant action allows the enforcement of. Federal statute or rule or regulation enacted on or after January one, 2021. That purports to regulate a farm, a farm assessory or a firearm ammunition. If the statute order rule or regulation that imposes a prohibition restriction or other regulations such as a capacity or size limitation. Registration requirement or a background check that does not exist under the laws of this state. So there it goes. That is the meat of it. We may the section says no internet, you described and no person employed by or otherwise under the direction or control. And then he made forced her attempt to enforce any federal statute. Or rule or regulation described by subsection B. So there is a thing that anything that we think is going to violate our second amendment rights. A any type of a law enforcement entity Cannot enforce, enforce those rights. And so again, That is the state. Stepping up and, and wielding their power. And so we need to, we need to push these movements ahead. And so from a Texas residents, I'm willing to put a link in here to contact your local representatives, to get their support behind this. We need a two thirds vote to get this approved. I'll keep tracking the progress of this. But both of these bills and see where they're going in Missouri, same thing, contact representatives. Arizona contact your representatives and it really in any state that you have start contacting your representatives. Your state and federal representatives. And tell them that we have to stand up against this regime of vitamins is getting ready to do his executive orders. To start co. You know, classifying semi-automatic weapons as under the national firearms act. I have to register them or got to start paying tax on them. And that is unconstitutional that it is a clear violation of our second amendment rights. And he does not have the power to do that. And so. This is, is, is critical. That we have to start standing up. This regime. And voicing the pen, showing the power it's happened, you know, Liz Cheney. Voted for the And peach mint. Of Donald Trump and she has gotten the backlash from her state of Wyoming. They have censored her that she's already got a primary candidate. They there was a movement to remove her from her post leadership. She has a third, most. Highest ranking. Official in the Republican party, in the house and she is being Challenged to be removed from that position. And in two years she's got a primary opponent is going to get a lot of support and probably her days in public office are gone because of that. That is what. We can do. As part of this. This, this movement. Is, we can, we can show them that you're not going to lie down and take it. We are a powerful group. You can get together. We can organize and we can, we can fight. So again these are just a couple examples of some things that are coming down the pipe that we need to start supporting. And it is critical. That we, we, we gather and, and math numbers and support this and support. Our our, our beliefs you know We may not have president Trump right now to lead us, but we have to do it from the ground up. And this groundswell has to go. Has to take over the house in two years and we have to regain that prisons informal years, because the direction that the current Party in power wants to take us is, is destructive to, to the American people, to any of the hardworking people that have supported the president. Over the last four years and they all they're looking for is power. Powerful, big corporations, power for them and getting in bed with the communist Chinese, the Chinese communist party, truthfully. You know, we can talk a little bit more about that sometime other time, but again, so it is House bill. On 12 and Texas, Missouri is the Senate bill 39 and then there's zona. It's the second amendment and our freedom to act. We need to contact the representatives and tell them that we are 100% behind this and we are going to, we want to protect and preserve our second amendment rights. So thank you for listening. I thank you all for this. You know, this is a fight we're going to win. And I believe it. And because I, I do believe we are on the side of truth here. So if you liked this podcast, keep sharing it. I'm humbled by the number of people that are listening to it. I'm going to put links to these bills. In the, in the show notes. Put a link to also for you where you can contact your representative. And tell him that, you know, they need to support this. And we we've got to spread this news. You know, big tech. That's a big other thing on my list. Big tech is, is trying to silence us. And so we've got to get the message out every way we can. And that may be knocking on doors. You know, I talked about GoDaddy I'm in the process of moving my website over. So. Hopefully that there won't be any downtime coming along, but, you know, we all have to start doing that. Everything that we can to fight big tech by the left and fight this movement that has been imposed upon us. So get out there, spread the word be joyful, be peaceful. Be patriotic, but, but fight. Fight fight. Fight. Thank you for listening and I'll talk to you again next week.
