Well, welcome to the live to shoot podcast. My name is Jeff and I've been licensed firearm dealer for the last 13 years on this podcast. We talk about all things related to the second amendment, and then we also might talk about some sports stories or something going on in my personal life. So welcome. Welcome. Welcome it is May 12th on Wednesday. And I'd said last week, I wasn't going to probably be able to get a podcast out, but I wanted to hop out and just do a real quick one here, because this is a busy week. My boys are playing the state baseball championship tomorrow, and then starting on Friday, we started having all sorts of graduation activities, but the ATF has finally released their rule as it pertains to Biden's requests to Eliminate or control ghost guns, quote unquote. And so they finally released the rule. We talked about this back in April, what the Released a rumor looked like it was a rule was going to be, and they did release it. And not much has changed. It is exactly what they, we thought they were going to do. And is this a problem? It is a big problem. And the reason I'm wanting to get this out there is I want to. Have everybody looking, they have not released or opened up the comments period yet on this rule, but it was, as soon as it hits the federal register, it will be open for comments and it should be out there for 90 days to get the common sense. So we need everybody to get out there and post comments on it. Again, like I said, it's not there yet, but keep checking regulations. Dot gov. And you were looking for two Oh two one R dash Oh five. And if it comes out and I I'll hop on and link to it as well, but continue to look at it because like we talked about earlier, this thing is problem. This is the, this is the, the the administrative branch, the executive branch. I'm trying to write law. They are bypassing Congress and going to just writing their own laws because the law States, what a firearm and receiver is, they are now trying to redefine a firearm receiver, and then they're creating this new class of a partial receiver or what might become a future receiver. And the law talks nothing about that. And so if they want to do this and that, they want to actually address the issue that they're trying to solve for which again is still not, we are. A, we have a solution looking for a problem, and the problem is not ghost guns out there, but they need to go through Congress and they need to get a new bill, get a law passed, where they redefine what they're going to consider a firearm going forward. This law has been in place since the sixties and. They, if they think it needs to be changed, they need to go through Congress. Problem is, is they know they can't get it done in Congress now or anytime in the future. So they're trying to use their sneaky little ways to get it done. So I'm just being quick here. I said, got regulations.gov, and you're going to be looking for the proposal. It is a two Oh two one R dash Oh five. So get out there and look forward and I will be hopping on as soon as I get another free moment. And if they put this out there for comments, I will get on and let you know soon as I can, but keep being active and looking for yourself and get out there and make comments tell them what you think about them trying to bypass Congress and writing their own laws. So everybody have a great day and I will talk to you later.
