We won. Yes, we won. You don't know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the election on Tuesday. What an awesome victory. It was great. We you know, Trump won the electoral college handily. He is winning the popular vote handily. He has a mandate. We are going to control the Senate. We're going to control the house. There's still some outstanding votes. I'm closely watching and cheering on Carrie Lake in Arizona. That is one that I have always wanted really like her as of this morning, she's still. 30, 000 votes down with like 78 percent reporting. Yeah. It's been, you know, five days since the election and Arizona is still counting votes, but the math still exists for her a path to, to come back for those 30, 000, but we won. We won and I have to say, you know, it seems like gun owners, you guys got out there and did it. Saw an article talking about the different you know, where the big groups spent their monies Giffords and Anytown and NRA. And it's definitely seems like the NRA where it spent its monies on was a lot more successful. Anytown was a little mixed. Giffords was definitely Did not perform well. They only made they made expenditures in eight race and they lost six of them. So you know, and I love this. There, here's a quote from Giffords. It has been a difficult few days, and we want to encourage you to take some time to care for yourself. The Giffords Pack wrote in a fundraising email to supporters. We understand the emotions you may be feeling. Sadness, anger, grief. confusion, frustration, disappointment. These feelings are all incredibly valid and all of us here at Giffords, including Gabby, are experiencing those feelings right along with you. But we're also gearing up to take on the challenges and the new administration will bring. So yeah, the The left is clutching their pearls. They are so upset. I don't know if you've seen some of the videos and things of people screaming and just wailing and how, Oh, and Jimmy Kimmel is my favorite. The world is coming to an end and but then, you know, we get this you know, information. Let me see. I'll let me pull it up here real quick. Let's see if I can put my hand on it. Where This was a post that came, it said three days after Charlie Kirk posted this, but It said three days since Donald Trump's historic landslide, and already The E. E. U. says it wants to buy American natural gas to avoid Trump's tariffs But it says Putin says he will sell Russian oil in U. S. dollars, Hamas is calling for peace, Zelensky held a private phone call with President Trump and Elon Musk, and Mexico broke up a migrant caravan heading for America. All that happened just right after Trump became president because people realize there's a new sheriff in town There's definitely a new sheriff in town and his name is Donald J. Trump. So but you know, our work is not done We have a lot to get done It's just starting actually and that's part of it is going to be putting together the administration and You know, I'm gonna be coming out with you know, some some definite initiatives one There is a Twitter hashtag out there, no Pompeo, because there has been, and I don't know how, if it's true or not, but it is definitely trending anyway, that Mike Pompeo might have a spot back in the administration. He is a narrow trumper. He did not, he didn't, is not one to be trusted and we need to make sure he does not get in. And yesterday night, last night that no Pompeo hashtag was number one trending on Twitter. So we cannot allow people like my Pompeo back into the administration. The other one is John Cornyn. He is pushing to be the Senate Majority leader. And that is a big no-no, I am here in Texas. He is my. One of my two Texas Senators, and I am going to be spending all my efforts to make sure that he is no longer a Texas Senator when his term is up. I don't know how successful it is that will be, but we definitely cannot allow him to be Senate Majority Leader. But we still have things to get done. We do need to reform the ATF, and I hope President Trump does that. I feel confident, and I feel confident that we might actually get the Hearing Protection Act passed. We may actually get an elimination of the NFA. I don't know about that. Definitely clip the wings of the ATF. And, actually You know start protecting gun owners and protecting gun owners rights. Those are what we want to shoot for. But, and we've got the people to do it. I, I have faith in, in this administration and I believe we're going to be successful. So, you know, here's to everybody that got out vote, got people out to vote. We were successful and it shows, but we're not done, and that's what I mean. It shows in the past Republicans really thought that we could win on our ideas. We had better ideas. We always have had better ideas. Common sense is better than lunacy. Always. But, That doesn't always win. The Democrats were much better workers. They got out, rolled up their sleeves, and they went and scraped and clawed every vote they could. And in this election, the Republicans did it. And I hope we learned something. And I hope we continue to do that. Do that nasty, dirty work in the, in the trenches of getting, getting votes because that's what it takes to win. And when we did, so this is just a little celebratory podcast. We'll be getting into the meat of more things going on in the world the next time, but enjoy, have a good weekend and I'll talk to you later.
