Welcome to the Live2Shoot Podcast. My name is Jeff Dowdell, and I've been a licensed firearm dealer for the last 18 years. In this podcast, we talk about firearms. All things related to the Second Amendment, as well as anything else going on in the world, or a sports story, or anything else that I might find interesting. So welcome, welcome, welcome. Been somewhat of a quiet week. You know, we had the big news I think most recently is Kash Patel. got confirmed and he is now the director of the FBI. I think some very interesting things have will be coming out of his, his his time at the FBI and hopefully we'll start hearing some of that here relatively quickly. I saw a story from Pam Bondi that she had the Epstein files on her desk. I am curious to see who else might become roommates with P. Diddy. Based on some of those files I think, I think there could be some very shocking names in there. People that probably hope that those never come out. You know, big news, hockey, big, you know, patriotic hockey. Unfortunately, we lost the game, but, you know, it was really good to see people actually standing up again and really being proud to be Americans. Very, very cool to see that we, we are having a shift in mindset here lately. You know, Doge is going crazy. They're, they're cutting everything and it's fun to watch the left. Mind blow over the fact that we're saving money. Listen to these reporters question Caroline Levitt about, you know, you know. You know, these, these numbers and then trying to justify or minimize them she's stated stat a, a reporter was questioning her about, you know, fraud, you know, you keep using the word fraud and, you know, are we, where are you finding fraud? And she gave an example over the last, you know, in the Social Security Administration, there was some example, and I don't remember the, the particulars of the exact, exact example, but over potentially like from 2012 to now, you know, 13 years. There was 71 billion dollars that was lost or misspent or fraudulently paid out however it was. And the reporter was trying to say, well, but, you know, that's over, you know, 13 years. And, and she's like, but it's 71 billion dollars. And, you know, they, they think that it's, you know these are, you know, nickels and dimes were thrown around, but they just don't want to see their gravy train. And, but a thing came across my desk, and I, and I found it, and I started to read it, and it just, it just makes me so mad, but it, it showed me why, Winning is so important and we have to keep winning. We can't let our guard down. We have to continue to win. We have to fight for the midterms. We have to fight for Supreme Court races in these certain states. Wisconsin has a big one coming up. We have to keep winning because the left won't quit. And, but this report came across because it reminded me of how important it is that we have won because You know, if we go back to 2020 and COVID, the left found a new tool in their bag that they didn't know that they really had and the power that they could swing with it, and that was public health. They were, you know, all of a sudden they realized, Hey, if we say it's a public health emergency, we can do anything. And they'd have to believe us. They have to, you know, stay at home and stay six feet apart and take these jabs and do all these things that we indicate them to them because it's a public health emergency. I started indicating to you that there was these, you know rumors and murmurings around about how, you know, gun violence is a public health threat. And it was very obvious that on the horizon that you know, an Anthony Fauci could come in and say, you know what, and the Surgeon General kind of indicated that this, this under Biden, that this is the direction he was going to want, thought we should go is that, Hey, you know. Gun violence is public health. We've got to control this. Us as health professionals have to step in and, and do something. And a new study came out from the Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions. Anything named that is just a big red flag for me, you know. Why do you have an entire center and I looked at, I mean, there's, you know, quite a few people in this what, what, why is this, you know, why do we have such a thing? But this new report recommends that more states adopt comprehensive firearm purchasing licensing laws based on years of evidence that these laws are affecting and reducing gun violence. And and the Gun Center for, the Center for Gun Violence Solution Coppins Bloomberg School, Bloomberg. Does that not tell you where this is? School of Public Health. And that they say that this is a public health matter. And that they think that we need to have as part of these firearm purchasing Oh, how is it? Where are they? Firearm, firearm purchaser licensing laws, okay, that they should include firearm training, fingerprinting, in person application, comprehensive background checks, waiting periods between application and possession of a firearm. So, which of those does not just scream out, in French There are 11 states currently that have these firearm purchasing laws that some favor Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, which is the home of Chicago, right? Maryland, which is the home of Baltimore, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington, D. C. What? Of those cities have majority of them have in common. They are extremely violent. They have excessive gun violence and they go through here and they talk about how this reduces the stats and These have had these impacts and everything and it's not true because the criminals are still getting the guns, Evidence of the fact that Chicago has multiple murders every day. But My point is, is that if we had lost and Kamala Harris was in and her regime and Anthony Fauci had not run off fear of prison sentence I can see the CDC or whoever stepping in and saying, we have got to stop this and block the sale of all firearms because it's a public health threat. And. That sounds crazy, but go back to 2020, who would have said that, hey, we, we need everybody to go home and not go out and walk in a park because we're afraid you're going to get a airborne disease. So that's why we have to keep winning because we are one loss away from these types of laws being in, in Instituted and our, our second amendment rights going away. We're making great progress right now. ATF, Pambani started firing people. We got rid of like one of their legal counsels. So we're making progress. And, but it's, it's slow and it's. You know, we've got judges across the country that would stand up and say yes, this, this is legal and y'all, they have the right to do this and they're going to apply this across the United States and, and then just force the, the Supreme Court to step in. As people that respect the Constitution and our Second Amendment rights, these are the types of things that are the biggest threat to them. And when I see a study like this come across and these recommendations, it just screams COVID to me and that this is what they want to do. And if they get the opportunity, they're going to do it. So my point is, is we gotta keep our foot on the gas and we gotta keep moving because we've got to keep winning and we have to ensure that we continue to have our Second Amendment rights to protect and defend ourselves from a government that can very easily go out of control. We have seen it and It's we're not that far away. And so, you know, you just keep your eye on these things. We keep, keep cheering president Trump, keep it about what he's doing, because, you know, he he's. Taking us back to being a great country again. Just, again, go back to that hockey game and the entire stand singing, you know, the Star Spangled Banner and the cheers that President Trump gets when he's going to these sporting events. People are proud to be Americans. We are showing our moxie that we are the greatest nation in the world and you have to start listening to us because we're not going to put up with it. Now we're not going to come in and invade you and take you over. We're just not going to support you. We're not going to protect you. Germany, who if you insult somebody, you can go to prison. No, we're not going to do that. We're not going to send you money to defend yourselves. You all are big boys. You can defend yourselves. We'll, we'll stay over here. We'll defend ourselves. Canada, Mexico, keep your people out, keep your criminals out. We're going to, and if you don't do it, we'll do it. So just. Remember, we are the United States of America, and we are the greatest nation on this planet, and we're not to be trifled with But we're and we're not going to bend a knee. We're not going to try and make everybody like us We got to do what's best for our country but and that that is all based on this constitution and The first and second amendment of this constitution, which most countries in the world do not have and do not respect and that is why they're in the situation that they're in so god bless america continue to Pray for it. Pray for President Trump. And let's get out there, protect our Second Amendment, and keep fighting and winning these elections, wherever it might be. Keep fighting. Thank you. Thank you for listening.
