Well, welcome to the live Shoot podcast. My name is Jeff Dot. I've been a licensed firearm dealer for the last 18 years. In this podcast, we talk about all things related to Second Amendment. Anything else going in the world, a sports story or anything else that I might find interesting. So welcome, welcome, welcome, and it is finally time. It's finally time to get John Cornyn out of the US Senate. If you've been listening to this pod podcast for any time you have known that I have been I. Having my own campaign to oust John Cornyn, and he is finally up for reelection and it's time to primary him and get a new Republican running for, for the Senate and get into the, to, to the Senate to, to represent Texas. So, and, and that is, we do have that good candidate. This is one of those times where we actually have a good candidate. And that is Ken Paxton, the current, a Texas Attorney General he has been a strong supporter of, of gun rights. President Trump, he actually was one of the very few that actually went to and rep supported President Trump in his trials in New York. John Cornyin wasn't there. He is definitely a strong and good replacement for Cornyin. So what is wrong? With Cornwell he is time and time again sided with the anti-gun left when it mattered most. With the most recent being when he sided with president Biden to pass the safer Community Acts which was the largest federal gun control package in over 30 years. You know, the bill didn't just tinker around the edges. It funded a red flag gun confiscation across the country using$750 million in taxpayer dollars to, to bankroll laws that allow the government to seize firearms without due process. And, you know, incentivize states to pass their own red flag laws. He empowered the a TF to crack down on private gun sales by redefining. What it means to be a gun dealer. Essentially, the law has put into question that anybody could potentially be label a, a private gun, a gun dealer, even if they just sell one gun. They could have allowed the ATFs fortunately, under this. Administration, this has not been an issue. He created a lifetime ban for many young Americans through a registration scheme. And he introduced, you know, brand new gun ban targeting and anyone who had had a, a bad date opening the door, you know that your girlfriend type. Law opening the door to disarmament based on vague unsubstantial, a accusations. It also increased background checks for those under 21. And it wasn't, it wasn't a mistake, it was calculated. It betrayal. Korn has also been involved in the, was involved in the fix nicks gun ban in 2017. He championed the so-called fix Nicks act, a bill that dramatically expanded the federal gun ban database. Rather than focusing on violent criminals, the male bill made it easier for bureaucrats to flag law buying citizens, including over 250,000 Americans and stripped them of their gun rights without due process. The. You know, he whipped votes for it. And in 2018, he jammed into a 90 page, 900 page Omnis bill, threatening government shutdown to presidents to force President Trump hand thanks to Corning. The Knicks database has exploded today. It's over 33 million records, and it's growing by more every year. Corn's anti-gun history goes back even further. In 2007, he helped pass the Nicks improvement amendments by unanimous consent. Rather than voting against it, he took to the Senate floor to give a speech, not about defending gun rights, but about hunting in Africa. Other things he has done that has been against the anti-gun forces. He voted to confirm Merrick Garland Biden's Anti-Gun Attorney General. He voted to confirm Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. The same. Hillary Clinton who led the push for the UN's Small Arms Treaty, he introduced legislation in 2016 that would've stripped Americans of their gun rights if they appeared on a secretive and air prone no fly list. He repeatedly violated to increase the voted to increase the spending authority of the A TF. And as Texas Stern General Cornin promoted Texas Exile, a failed gun control program modeled after a Clinton era federal scheme that blamed law abiding owners for inner city gun crimes. So he is definitely not a supporter of the Second Amendment. He's also not a supporter of, of strong borders. Every time an immigration bill has come up Cornyn has sided on giving amnesty to those because he is really a Democrat with, he's being only a, a rhino and name only. Where on this other side we've got Ken Paxton and Ken Paxton is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and he will defend our rights to keep and bear arms so. I know this is just a Texas only type issue and I've got a lot of people all over the country. But if you don't live in Texas and you do know somebody, encourage'em, encourage'em to vote. We have got to, this is our opportunity right now to get rid of John Corn and, and replace him with Ken Paxton. Now, if you listen to the consulting class and the big Republican class, what they don't wanna do is they're afraid that if we get rid of that corn's an easy win. We don't have to worry about him, you know, losing the Senate, so we don't have to invest a lot of money to keep that Senate seat in Texas. But if we replace him out with Ken Paxton, it puts the seat in jeopardy according to them. I don't think so. I think a, if we put in a strong Republican candidate, we will flock to support him. And I will help guarantee that. So. Again, early voting has started here in Texas. Get out and vote in primary. Ken John Cornyn with Ken Paxton. Do not. If you go, do not put your check that box for John Cornyn. It is critical that we get Ken, Ken Paxton in that seat going forward. Because if we don't do it now, we're gonna lose our opportunity. We've got, we'll have Cornin for another six years and that's just gonna be miserable. So I appreciate you listening. Get out there and vote. Vote for Ken Paxton. Let's get rid of John Cornin. He is nothing but a threat to our gun rights. I appreciate listening. Take care and have a good day.
